Bahay Hilom was founded in Honolulu to preserve a living Filipino healing tradition, prepare responsible practitioners, and create a place where culture and practice remain connected.
WHY BAHAY HILOM EXISTS

Bahay means house. Hilom means healing. The name is both our identity and our commitment: to create a home where ancestral knowledge can be learned in relationship.
Hilot is often reduced to massage or technique. We teach it as a wider Filipino healing system, one shaped by observation, touch, discernment, cultural memory, ethics, responsibility, and care.
Our work welcomes Filipinos returning to ancestral knowledge and respectful non-Filipino students who understand that learning across cultures requires humility, attribution, and accountability.
