QUESTIONS, ANSWERS

Before you

enter the house.

Do I have to be Filipino to learn?

No. Filipino and non-Filipino students are welcome when they arrive with humility, respect, and a genuine commitment to learn within the lineage and its cultural protocols.

Is this a massage course?

Hilot includes hands-on bodywork, but Bahay Hilom teaches it as a wider Filipino healing system rooted in cultural knowledge, assessment, relationship, responsibility, and practice.

Can I teach after Level 1 and 2?

No. Certification is a beginning, not permission to teach the lineage. Teaching requires years of practice, advanced study, demonstrated maturity, and explicit approval.
